2009 Date Announced!
The date for the 2009 7v7 Kickoff Tournament will be June 6th! The price per team will be $250 which will include a minimum of 4 games! There are two divisions so that all games are competitive. The Orange division will be for Varsity teams and the Black division is for JV teams or inexperienced or young varsity teams.

ONU 7v7 Kickoff Tournament
This past summer, Ohio Northern men's soccer hosted a 7v7 tournament at the ONU Soccer Field as a fundraiser for their program. We had 10 teams attend our tournament last year and we are hoping to have a better turnout this upcoming summer.
The field is approximately 65yds x 50yds and is 6v6 including keepers. Games are 25 minutes long and your team is guaranteed to have five games.
We had two different brackets in 2008, a black and an orange, for teams of various skill levels. The two bracket system is great for teams who want to bring their varsity and JV to the tournament!
The great thing about our tournament is that it is after June 1st so your team is allowed to play together (before June 1st no more than 5 of your high school players may play together, according to OHSAA rules). The tournament is a great way to kickoff your fall season, incorporate incoming freshmen into your program, and to form a bond between your players that will strengthen your team unity into the season.
